Faculty Dentist – General Dentist

Location: High Point, NC

FTE: Full Time or Part Time

The Faculty Clinician (General Dentist) is a full-time or part-time clinical position with a primary location in one of the OHN sites (HUB, primary oral health), all within one hour from High Point, NC. The HUB locations will provide multi-specialty and advanced complex care, the primary oral health sites will provide general dental services and affiliate hospitals will provide care to medically complex patients, all ensuring that the most complex of our patients’ needs can be addressed within the OHN.

Faculty Clinicians are appointed as non-tenure, clinician-track faculty (Assistant/Associate/Professor) with duties in the High Point University Oral Health Network (OHN) and Workman School of Dental (WSDM), which includes the pre-doctoral Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and post-doctoral programs. Professional rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s level of experience and qualifications at time of hire.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 plus years of experience in clinical practice of dentistry is preferred, but not required.
• Experience in private practice is preferred, but not required.
• Experience in dental education is preferred, but not required.
